Self Cleaning Filter

1.      Self-Cleaning Filters assure continuous flow, simplified maintenance and worry-free operation.

2.     Liquid is supplied to self-cleaning filter through the inlet and filtration is carried out using Wedge Wire Filter Element. Filtration operation is in-to-out.

3.    Contamination gets deposited inside the filter element. When Filter Element is clogged, pressure difference in the inlet and outlet of self-cleaning filter increases.

4.      When the pressure difference is reached to predetermined level, Differential pressure switch sends a signal to open the Electrically operated actuator valve of drain pipe. It also gives signal to electric motor to operate scrapper at the same time.

5.      Spring loaded scrapper scrapes the dirt inside the wedge wire drum and dirt is drained through drain pipe.

6.      When the pressure difference is reduced, actuator valve of drain is closed, scrapper motor is stopped, and filtration operation is continued.
