A magnetic roller separator is a dry-type separator to remove ferrous impurities from a mixture/powder. The contaminated powder is passed over the belt and the magnets under the belt are going to remove the impurities.

The magnets used in the Magnetic Roller Separator are made up of combination of ferrite and rare earth magnets.
The obtained high magnetic attraction forces have high magnetic sensitivity and therefore they make it possible to separate very fine low magnetic dust with a high recovery.
Material with ferrous contamination is loaded onto the hopper of Magnetic Roller Separator. A mesh is provided on top of the hopper to avoid the loading of big chunks of the material. Vibrating mechanism is provided for material loading.
Hopper has a mechanism to adjust the flow of material.
The material is carried to magnetic roller using conveyor belt. Arrangement is provided to adjust the belt tension.
Magnetic Roller attracts the ferrous contamination and contamination free material is collected in the collection tray first. Collection tray is provided with a mesh on top to avoid the collection of big chunks of the material.
Magnetic contamination is separated from the Magnetic Roller in second stage and is collected in a separate collection tray.
Fine dust is separated from the belt using scrapper and is collected in the third collection tray.
